PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY COUNTY DUE TO LACK OF APPLICANTS!
To all Explorer Scouts and Network members in South Yorkshire (and beyond)
Winter Runaround 2010 will take place Saturday 13th February 2010. If you have not taken part before ask someone who has, it is a lot of fun, at a time of year when outdoor activities are limited.
Runaround is a big widegame where the playing area is the whole of South Yorkshire. I supply you with a one-day travel pass valid for all South Yorkshire’s public transport, and you have fun finding your way to places and doing a variety of challenges. The finish is at Hesley Wood Activity Centre where you will have your tea and do lots of socialising.
To join in all you have to do is
· Get a team of 4 to 7 Explorers or Network members, or a mixture,
· Get the instructions from your leader (or Sharon Unsworth )
· Fill-in an entry form (from your leader or me (Sharon Unsworth ))
· Return it to me, by Monday 11th January 2010, with £7.50 for each member of the team.
· Sit back and wait for February when you get the final details to make your plans to win Winter Runaround.
